Corollaire

Six vase models made of coloured and clear crystal. Each coloured crystal model is produced in a limited series of up to 29 pieces. As new heirs to a long Saint-Louis tradition, six dainty vases from the Corollaire collection each imitate the shape of a cut flower, to perpetuate a time-honoured tradition. Highly decorative without detracting from practical considerations, this was the height of fashion during the late 19th and early 20th centuries before falling out of favour. Until Saint-Louis des Endiablés designer José Lévy paid a visit to the crystal works attic and succumbed to the charm of these graceful artefacts imbued with the expertise of by-gone years. Rescued from oblivion, these vases pay tribute to long-forgotten artistry and technical prowess, yet are decked in colours that defy tradition.
