Winter and mischief tales
“Winter in Quebec lasts for a long time, sometimes more than 6 months in which the old persons, farmers for most of them, spend a lot of time to invent stories… And as the catholic religion was never too far, the devil stayed up the beautiful province… Times have changed. But Winter remains. And stories too…And with them the funny or sad mischief but which always are a dream”. Children and adults immerse themselves in the magic of Christmas thanks to Kathleen Fortin, professional storyteller of the Company “Rebonds d’histoires”. At 4pm on Sunday December 10, 2017 - Duration: 45 minutes
Pop'up greeting card workshop
By being inspired by forms and colors of the museum’s collections, children will be invited to create relief greeting cards. This technique of illustration called “pop’up” contains mechanisms which enable to create volumes or decoration movements. The illustrations come to life before the children’s eyes who will be apprentices designers during this afternoon! This Workshop was developed in partnership with Vincent Godeau, School of Decorative Arts of Strasbourg graduate.
