QUEENS HALL
CHAMPAGNE FLUTE MARIE-AMÉLIE
-
$135.00

These champagne flutes complete a set that began with tumblers for four kings and stemware for their queens. Cut in crystal and dedicated to four women who shaped Versailles through style and character, they round out the Galerie Royale collection, launched in 2019. Marie-Amélie, Queen of the French at the side of Louis-Philippe, devoted herself tirelessly to charitable causes, a devotion echoed here in flat flutes recalling the neo-medieval style of her era.

Light and slender, set on a short cut crystal stem, these flutes are shaped for an easy, natural hold, built for the simple ritual of pouring and lifting a glass of champagne.
Each pattern traces back to a specific queen, her initials engraved beneath the foot. That connection to Versailles runs deep: in 1767, Louis XV named Saint-Louis the royal manufacture attached to the château, a place still resonant with the memory of four royal couples and their lavish celebrations. Tumblers came first, honoring the kings. Stemware followed, for their queens. What remained missing, until now, was a vessel worthy of champagne itself.
