European Days of Craftsmanship
From April 7 to 12, 2026 at La Grande Place, Saint-Louis Museum

Exceptional encounters: factory tour from April 7 to 10, 2026

As you explore the Saint-Louis manufacture, recognized as a Living Heritage Company (EPV), you will discover the gestures of artisans who are among the Best Craftsmen of France and Knights of the Order of Arts & Letters. All are custodians of expertise enriched from generation to generation, listed as part of UNESCO’s intangible cultural heritage of humanity. Their talent has made Saint-Louis an international benchmark of the art of living. This immersive experience will take you through 440 years of history.

From April 7 to 10 at 11 a.m. (tour duration: 1 hour 30 minutes).

Meet the cutting artisans on April 11 and 12, 2026

Among the sixty crafts that collectively contribute to the creation of exceptional Saint-Louis pieces, hand cutting offers endless possibilities for decorating objects with individual or combined patterns. The dexterity of the cutting artisans continuously enriches the historical repertoire, which includes 12,000 decorative references. Meeting them and observing their gestures will allow you to appreciate the mastery and subtleties of this expertise.

Demonstration every 30 minutes.
Saturday, April 11 (afternoon), from 2:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.
Sunday, April 12 (full day), from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.
Free museum entry, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
