Coming by car and parking
The Saint-Louis Museum has two parking areas, in front of the museum entrance, adapted for people with reduced mobility, with strollers, or with difficulties moving around.
One of the car parks has two PRM spaces and two bus spaces.
Please note that the car park closes at the same times as the museum.
Coming by train
The Wingen-sur-Moder and Diemeringen stations are the closest to the museum: TER line “Strasbourg-Sarreguemines-Saarbrücken”. A vehicle is necessary between these stations and Saint-Louis-lès-Bitche. The Saint-Louis Museum is about 15 minutes by car from each of these two stations. If you would like to book a taxi, please do not hesitate to ask us for advice.
Physical accessibility
The museum and the factory, as well as the parking areas, are accessible and adapted for people with reduced mobility. We do not provide wheelchairs or an elevator.
The museum is entirely on one level (gentle progressive slope of 953 meters). Visitors with reduced mobility are invited to reach the ground floor by visiting the museum in reverse.
The factory has an elevator.
The village tour is not accessible to people with reduced mobility and is not recommended for those with difficulties moving around.
Portable folding stools are available to visitors, for all our offers and visiting areas. Please feel free to reserve them with the visitor services team.
Cognitive accessibility
The museum and the factory are not recommended for people sensitive to vertigo.
The factory is not recommended for people sensitive to noisy sound environments and temperature variations.
Accessibility for the deaf and hard of hearing
The museum does not have specific devices.
Visual accessibility
Our visiting areas are not equipped for a fully independent visit for people with visual impairments. Assistance animals are accepted inside the museum.
