“Éclats du crépuscule” Camille Fischer, François Génot and Nicolas Schneider at La Grande Place, Saint-Louis Museum from November 6, 2025 to April 5, 2026

“Éclats du crépuscule”
The Hermès Corporate Foundation presents “Éclats du crépuscule,” an exhibition by artists Camille Fischer, François Génot and Nicolas Schneider at La Grande Place, the exhibition space of the Saint-Louis Museum. “Éclats du crépuscule” is part of a programming cycle developed in partnership with the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Strasbourg (MAMCS), which has been entrusted by the Foundation with the curatorship of La Grande Place from 2025 to 2027.
For the second exhibition of this partnership, the MAMCS has created four tableaux placing the works of Camille Fischer, François Génot and Nicolas Schneider in dialogue, three artists living and working in eastern France. The three artists are distinguished by their varied practices: sculptures, textile or engraved pieces, installations. They exhibit their works in perfect harmony in the gallery.
Since 2014, the Foundation has programmed exhibitions at La Grande Place, Saint-Louis Museum, dedicated to contemporary creation seen through the prism of craftsmanship, imagined in collaboration with a local cultural institution and with the support of the Saint-Louis crystal works. Through this cycle, whose first exhibition was dedicated to Gretel Weyer, Estelle Pietrzyk, curator of the exhibition and Chief Heritage Curator at the MAMCS, highlights artists whose practices are rooted in a fertile local artistic environment.

The drawn, engraved and forged works of Nicolas Schneider resonate with the ceramics, charred elements and grass bouquets of François Génot, while Camille Fischer installs a fountain and unfolds embroidered linens and silks in these showcase-theaters glowing with the last “Éclats du crépuscule.”
