Robe of Lights – Light Installation

Mylène Billand, stained-glass maker and artist, presents an original, tailor-made creation giving a second life to Saint-Louis crystal objects, transformed into contemporary stained-glass pieces. They will be backlit at the heart of the museum, in its central well, creating a poetic interplay of light.
After studying medieval literature, Mylène Billand turned to the art of stained glass.

From December 1 to 31, 2025, except December 25 and January 1.
Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 6 pm, except December 24 and 31 until 4 pm.
Included with museum admission (full price €8, reduced price €4).

Guided Tour of the Manufacture

Led by an expert guide, discover the expertise and behind-the-scenes world of Saint-Louis. Watch the shaping and ornamentation of exceptional pieces—true jewels of the French art of living—crafted by glassmakers and cutters, including several “Meilleurs Ouvriers de France.” The tour of the manufacture may begin or be continued freely at the museum.
