Museum : Guided tour of the workshop
Visiting the workshops
This visit crosses the manufacture by a set of footbridges overlooking the hall of the furnaces and that of the oven with the basin, interspersed with stops in front of the paperweights and the workshop of restoration of the molds. The infrastructure ensures optimum safety conditions for visitors and offers them, from the top of the footbridges, a very comfortable visit, while not disrupting the craftsmens’ work.
Visiting the village
A guided tour through Saint-Louis-lès-Bitche allows one to discover hidden treasures, anecdotes, and the rich heritage of a village built by and for the crystal industry – an immersion in the wealth of the social history of this manufacturing village. A genuine initiation into industrial architecture, this walk through history presents both the legacy of crystal shops and how the crystal adventure will continue into the future.
