For centuries, the candelabra has served as a beautiful ornament that sparkles with sophistication.

Drawing inspiration from its crystal chandeliers, torches, and candlesticks, Saint-Louis imagined the candelabra as a natural extension of its lighting offering – the remarkable and brilliant characteristics of these creations encouraging the Maison to translate their elegance into crystal pieces.

Since their creation, Saint-Louis crystal candelabras have continued to reflect generations of glassmaking mastery. This enduring know-how has helped establish the Maison’s reputation across the world. A striking example came in 1895, when the King of Nepal commissioned several candelabras reaching four meters in height, showcasing the extraordinary skill of Saint-Louis artisans.

What sets Saint-Louis candelabras apart begins with the material itself: crystal. Its exceptional clarity allows light to pass through and reflect within the piece, creating an iridescent brilliance. Classic candelabras also require the collaboration of several artisans, whose know-how is divided between hot molding and cold cutting. The signature twisted branches are formed as the crystal is turned while being blown – a technique known in French as soufflé-tourné bouche (mouth-blown and turned), which gives the material its permanent and perfectly balanced shape.

Thanks to this remarkable craftsmanship, Saint-Louis candelabras possess striking proportions that capture attention in any interior. Placed in a foyer, a living room, or at the center of a dining table, both table candelabras and candelabras placed on a stand bring luminosity and elegance to the surrounding space. Whether inspired by traditional design codes or defined by more modern details, the collection offers a candelabra suited to every décor.
