VISIT THE MANUFACTURE
Beginning at the museum, step into the Saint-Louis manufacture, designated as a Living Heritage Company (EPV). Watch the glassmakers shaping molten crystal, along with the cutters, engravers, and decorators who refine each creation.
Among these artisans are “Meilleurs Ouvriers de France” (Best Craftsmen of France) and Knights of the Order of Arts & Letters, custodians of expertise handed down across generations. Their glassmaking techniques, recognized as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, position Saint-Louis as a worldwide reference in the art of living.
During the visit, a walkway overlooking the Grande Halle offers a safe view of the “hot” work. The tour continues with the paperweight workshop – Saint-Louis being the only contemporary creator – and the mold restoration workshop. The journey ends with the so-called “cold” work, where you will get a close-up view of the skills of cutters, engravers, and decorators.
- Open: Tuesday to Friday from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.
- Tour length: about 1h30
- Closed: Mondays, weekends, public holidays, and during exceptional closure periods of the manufacture.
- Pets are not permitted on the tour route.

Groups/Schools
For groups of 10 or more, the manufacture tour is available only by booking.
Visits take place Tuesday to Friday from 9:30 to 11:00 am and/or from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, lasting 1h30.

Your ticket includes both the guided visit of the manufacture and entry to the museum with its permanent and temporary exhibitions.

- Standard rate: €20

- Family ticket (1 or 2 adults and up to 5 children under 18): €45
- Free entry with valid proof (teachers, journalists/press, lecturers/cultural & tourism professionals, companions of disabled visitors*)
* For safety reasons, access to the manufacture is allowed from age 6 (see access page).
