A bouquet of white, purple and pink flowers is set in a translucent crystal ball with a deep dark blue base: a pure scene exuding great serenity.
Beneath this ball is a flared cone decorated with filigree: very fine threads of white enamelled crystal intertwined within the clear crystal to represent the mesh of a butterfly net. Caught in it are two butterflies, one dark blue and the other bright green. They fly towards the crystal ball and its flowers. The butterfly net ends in a dark blue rim.

Saint Louis is the only crystal factory in the world still able to make paperweights.
