Using the blowtorch technique, the life cycle of the flower is depicted: from the young beginnings of the flower bud, to the blooming flower facing the observer and finally the flowers turning, hiding behind their leaves. Black with mother-of-pearl and golden detailing, they are bundled one after another and encrusted in a white cap lined with amber crystal. An item that is truly the result of experience and wisdom, this paperweight is adorned with bevel cuts to design the cultivated flowers in its centre.
